Vietnam visa is required for all the Bangladeshi citizens traveling Vietnam for tourist and business purposes. However, getting Vietnam visa is really a challenge for the Bangladesh passport holders since there are many travelers arrived in Vietnam and violated the immigration policy. The Vietnamese government has changed the visa policy recently and it causes a significant effect on the Bangladeshi applicants.
As the result, the Bangladeshi citizens can only apply for a tourist visa with validity from 20 – 25 days maximum. Moreover, it takes longer to process a visa application (from 7 – 10 days) and the processing fee is much higher than other nations. At present, there are 2 ways for the Bangladesh passport holders to apply for a Vietnam visa: apply for visa on arrival or apply for visa at the Vietnam Embassy.
1. Apply Vietnam visa on arrival
From Bangladesh, the travelers may go online at www.visumvietnamonline.com to fill in the visa application form, pay the visa fee and receive a visa approval letter within 7 – 10 days. Upon arrival, you just need to show the original passport, visa approval letter, photo and pay the stamping fee then a visa stamp will be glued onto your passport.
In order to apply a visa on arrival, the applicants must provide the passport copy, hotel booking receipt and round trip air tickets.
